Text Box: 1. Are moonwalks safe?

Moonwalks are as safe as playing in your own house, maybe safer. We want the children to be as safe as possible, so our trained employees will go over the safety rules prior to final set-up. Please review all safety rules before your event begins.

2. Are the inflatable’s clean?

Yes, we have full time staff dedicated to cleaning and sanitizing each inflatable after every use.

3. Are there any cleaning fees?

We expect to receive our inflatable's back in a fairly clean manner; however, we do realize that children will track in grass on their socks. We will not charge for this. However, any food or drink stain will require a $35.00 cleaning fee. There is to be no SILLY STRING used in or around our equipment. Silly String will not come off and you will be charged a $50.00 fee per stain. We will contact you immediately the next business day) should we have a problem with the condition of the inflatable.

4. Can you set up the inflatable anywhere in my yard?

The moonwalk needs to be within 50 ft of a power source. You can add up to 50 more feet of extension cords (12 gage minimum) but the blower will decrease in efficiency as the extension cord gets longer. The ground should be as level as possible. We ask that you mow the grass at least 2 days before your event. This will cut down on the grass clippings that the children will accumulate on their socks. We also ask that if you have backyard pets to please make sure your yard is clean prior to inflating your rental.

5. Can you set up an inflatable on concrete?

Yes. We can secure the inflatable with Sand Bags rather than stakes. However, it is HIGHLY recommended that the inflatable be set up on grass whenever possible.

6. Can you set up an inflatable in a park or other public place?

Yes, we do set up in public parks and other public places. However there is an additional fee should we need to provide the power in the form of a generator. Please check with your location to verify power. We also require a safety attendant to remain on site while the inflatable is on public property.

7. What is a safety attendant and why do I need one?

A safety attendant is one of our trained employees to supervise your children and guests while in our equipment in a public location. They are there for the safety of the children. Our safety attendants are not ticket collectors or disciplinarians. If a problem arises, they will ask the child to exit the inflatable. When the event is held on private property we ask that an adult ALWAYS supervise the inflatable.

8. Do you require a deposit?

For backyard parties a 50% non refundable deposit is required for rentals over 250.00 dollars. For public events, a 75% non-refundable deposit is required.
9. Does Lakeland Moonwalk have insurance?

Yes. Lakeland Moonwalk carries liability insurance, and auto liability insurance which allows use to set up at parks designated by the city, places of business and schools.

10. If I need to cancel, will I still be charged?

If your cancellation is related to the weather and we have received your cancellation prior to our employee leaving the warehouse with your unit, then we can reschedule your date or refund your money. This applies to weather related cancellations only. Any other cancellation will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

11. What are the rules when using a moonwalk?

Generally speaking, no food or drink, no shoes, no sharp objects, no visible metal zippers, no medical conditions including pregnancy, no wrestling/rough housing, no hanging on the netting, no belts, no flips, no SILLY STRING and NO sand.

12. What do we do if the inflatable is up and it starts to rain?

If it begins to rain while your party is in progress leave the inflatable inflated and we will let you know whether or not to deflate it. Reason being, is if the inflatable is deflated while it rains than the water will accumulate on the inside and make the inflatable extremely heavy. Once the rain stops, Having the inflatable blown up after rain will help drain the accumulated water from inside. Please wipe down the unit to avoid slipping. The vinyl gets very slippery when wet.

13. What if the inflatable is damaged during my event?

If there is a defect in the moonwalk, there will be no charge. Depending on the situation, if the moonwalk is damaged due to a preventable circumstance (example: dog chewed on it, someone cut it with a knife or sharp object on clothing), then a repair fee will be incurred.

14. Why choose Lakeland Moonwalk for your event?

We know that choosing a party rental company can be a difficult decision. A decision often made based solely on price. While we always try to OFFER the best value for your inflatable rental needs, we are realistic in knowing that some other company would likely “under cut” our price to get your business. We are able to provide referrals from our repeat customers if requested.
